Cycling: Gunn-Rita Dahle World Champion

Norwegian woman biker Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesjaa (42) won the MTB Marathon world championships at Val Gardena, Italy on Saturday, the 10th mountain bikiing World Championship of her career.

She beat reigning world champion Annika Langvad of Denmark by more than three minutes.

Germany's Sabine Spitz captured bronze, nearly 10 minutes behind.
