Northug wins again

Norway's Petter Northug continued on his winning streak, when he won the season-ending 15km cross country handicap race at Falun Sweden on Sunday, ahead of France's Maurice Manificat. Sweden 's Marcus Hellner placed third.

The 24-year-old Northug - who won double gold at the recent Winter Olympics in Vancouver - had already wrapped up the overall World Cup title.

Sunday's race concluded a season in which Northug won nine races and claimed 15 podiums in his 20 races, in addition to his success in the Winter Games last month.
