Only one in five believe Solberg will continue as Prime Minister
A recent survey shows that only one in five believe that Solberg will continue as Prime Minister after the election in 2017. More than three times as many believe that Jonas Gahr Støre, the head of the Labour Party (Ap), will take over as Prime Minister,. In a survey conducted by TNS Gallup on behalf of TV2, 74,8 percent of respondents belive that Jonas Gahr Støre will be the next prime minister, whereas only 22,7 percent believe that current Prime Minister Erna Solberg (The Conservative Party/Høyre) will continue in her position.
Among the Conservative Party's own voters, the majority goes to Solberg - 51,7 percent - wheareas Støre gets 47,7 percent.
This is a questions about what people think will happen. When the socialist parties are in majority in several recent polls, and the Labour Party does well, it is not surprising that people believe that Støre is most likely to be Prime Minister in 2017. This does not mean that this is what they want, Solberg explains.
Of the other answer options, leader of the Progress Party (FrP) Siv Jensen scores the highest points at 0,5 percent.
