Ingebrigt Vik Museum comprises most of the works made by the sculptor Ingebrigt Vik (1867-1927). He is considered one of the greatest Norwegian sculptors, and he is well-known for his thoroughly prepared sculptures.

The town of Stord is situated in the region of Sunnhordland, in the County of Hordaland on the Western coast of Norway.The town covers the Southern half of the island of Stord in addition to the islands of Huglo and Føyno, as well as a couple of smaller islands, making up a total of 144 square km
