Statoil's earnings for 2014 down by nearly NOK 30 billion

Aker Solutions will provide engineering, procurement and management assistance services for five years at the Statoil-operated Johan Sverdrup development in the Norwegian North Sea.

On January 1st, the Valemon gas and condensate field in the North Sea was brought on stream by by Norwegian energy producer Statoil and partners. Recoverable reserves from the field are estimated at 192 million barrels of oil equivalent.
