Statoil's earnings for 2014 down by nearly NOK 30 billion
Norwegian energy provider Statoil reports that for the full year 2014, adjusted earnings were NOK 136.1 billion compared to NOK 163.1 billion in 2013.

Aker Solutions wins five-year Statoil contract
Aker Solutions will provide engineering, procurement and management assistance services for five years at the Statoil-operated Johan Sverdrup development in the Norwegian North Sea.
Statoil awards seven service contracts
Norwegian energy provider Statoil has awarded the service contracts for seven bases for the company in Norway. These contracts have been awarded to NorSea Group AS, Saga Fjordbase AS and Asco Norge AS.
Oil&Gas: Announcement of the 23rd licensing round
The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy on Tuesday announced the 23rd licensing round for the Norwegian Shelf. The round consists of 57 blocks, or parts of blocks.
New gas field on stream
On January 1st, the Valemon gas and condensate field in the North Sea was brought on stream by by Norwegian energy producer Statoil and partners. Recoverable reserves from the field are estimated at 192 million barrels of oil equivalent.
