Norwegian energy provider Statoil (U.K.) Limited has on behalf of the Mariner co-venturers awarded the contracts for supply base and warehousing services for the Mariner field to Asco UK Limited.
The value of crude oil exports from Norway amounted to NOK 13.2 billion in January 2015. This is less than half the value from the same month last year, when crude oil to the value of NOK 29.1 billion was exported. This is the lowest export value of crude oil since November 2001, Statistics Norway reports.
Statoil, on behalf of the Johan Sverdrup partnership, hasl signed a contract with Norwegian engineering firm Aibel for the construction of the deck for the drilling platform on the field. The contract is worth in excess of NOK 8 billion.

Statoil and its partners have started up production from Oseberg Delta 2 in the North Sea. The field’s recoverable reserves are estimated at 77 million barrels oil equivalent.
