The Norway Cup, also called "The World's Largest Football Tournament for young people", opened in Oslo on Saturday with a flower parade and conserts.
Norway Cup was arranged for the first time by Bækkelagets Sports Club in 1972. This year the tournament is being arranged for the 43rd time. "Norway Cup General" Frode Kyvåg, has led the tournament for the last 39 years, and this is his last, before stepping down.
This year, 32 000 young people from 52 different nations across the world participate in the tournament at Ekebergsletta, on the outskirts of Oslo.
