Norwegian professional Martin Ødegaard (16) replaced Cristiano Ronaldo in the 57th minute of Real Madrid's match against Getafe Saturday, and in the process became the youngest La Liga debutant in Real Madrid's history.
The Norwegian midfielder claimed the record at the age of 16 years and 157 days.
"I was a little bit nervous about playing in front of so many people, but I tried to enjoy the moment. It's a special day, I feel very proud and very happy. I've had a really good time in my first season at Real Madrid and I've felt very comfortable", Ødegaard said to Real Madrid's home page.
