Norwegian participants dominated the World Cup sprint eventa at Drammen, Norway on Wednesday, with Maiken Caspersen Falla and Eirik Brandssdal (photo) at the top.
Falla won the women's classic sprint, with Heidi Weng second and Marit Bjørgen third. Compatriot Ingvild Flugstad Østberg came fourth, ahead of Sweden's Stina Nilsson in fifth.
The men's sprint was won by Brandsdal, ahead of Finn Hågen Krogh in second and Ola Vigen Hattestad in third. Teammate Sondre TurvollFossli came fourth, ahead of Russia's Sergeij Justinov in fifth.
