Norway's Therese Johaug won her third gold of the 2015 Nordic World Ski Championships after racing to victory in the cross country 30km mass start competition in Falun, Sweden on Saturday.
Johaug left the main group behind already at 6.5km, and she was on her own from then on, finishing the race 52 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor, compatriot Marit Bjørgen, who won silver.
Sweden's Charlotte Kalla secured the bronze medal.
The victory was Johaug's first ever win in the 30km classic style at international level, while it also marks the first time she has ever won two individual gold medals at the same Championships.
She is now also the fifth Norwegian female skier to manage two golds from the same World Championships in individual distances following her 15km pursuit success earlier in the week.
