Norway’s Mikko Kokslien won Nordic Combined World Cup gold in the Gundersen event in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Sunday, his second win in two days running. Japan’s Akito Watabe won silver.

Norway's Mikko Kokslien won the Nordic Combined event in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Saturday, despite a poor ski jump which left him in 12th place at the start of the cross country leg.

Norway's Mikko Kokslien captured second place in the individual Nordic Combined event in Val di Fiemme on Sunday. Winner was Japan's Akito Watabe. USA's Bill Demong placed third.
