Lars Andreas Larsen started his printing house in 1947. Today their puzzles are used all over the w The first puzzles were then manufactured in Flekkefjord in 1953. They were made by using an old die cutting machine, which earlier generations had used to produce slippers. In the fifties, most of the puzzles were made after orders from other publishers, but in the middle of the sixties the company started to build up its own assortment of designs under its own trademark. At the same time, the import duty of our neighbor countries was reduced, and the first export could start. From now on, the company stopped working as an ordinary printing house, and concentrated 100% about the production of puzzles. In the seventies we started to cooperate with Norwegian schools. This opened a new and interesting market, and it lead the way to new ideas and added value of the puzzles. Today schools in many countries use our puzzles as educational teaching aids.
