Gudrun offshore jacket to Aker Verdal

Statoil has awarded Aker Solutions and its Aker Verdal Yard an EPC contract for the Gudrun offshore jacket to be delivered in 2011. The contract value is approximately NOK 420 million.

Gas leak at refinery - 200 evacuated

More than 200 persons were evacuated from the Mongstad Refinery Monday morning, when explosive mixture of propane and methane gas began leaking from a pipeline. No one was injured, and the leak was stopped.
