Skiing: 30,000 Oslo championship tickets sold

The sale of tickets to next year's Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo began on Wednesday, and more than 30,000 of a total of 200,000 tickets were sold already on the fiirst day.

 - The interest was greater than I had expected, said director Åsne Havnelid. In her opinion, those who want to enter the Holmekollen Arena proper, to view the competitons, should get a move on. 12,000 tickets were sold inthe first hour.
