Paddling gold for Norway's Minde

Norway's Morten Minde won gold in the K1, men under 23, marathon event at the 2011 Canoe Marathon World Championships in Singapore on Friday.

Minde outraced Spanish Emilio Llamedo on the last stretch, to win the 26km race.

Tim Pendle of Great Britain came third.
