Cycling: Stage win for Hushovd

Norway's Thor Hushovd (Garmin-Cervelo) won the fourth stage of the Tour of Britain in Caerphilly, Wales, on Wednesday, ahead of Dutch rider Lars Boom.

However, Boom (Rabobank) remains overall leader of the Tour.

World Champion Hushovd, who has been fighting a bad cold with antibiotics, from the start,  was among 25 riders who attacked on Caerphilly Mountain before the drop to the finish.

- This was very good for my self confidence. The stage run went according to plan, Hushovd said.
