Warn against high Norwegian wages
While we in Norway have had a strong increase in wages over a period of 20 yeaars, German wages have virtually been frozen. - The result of the strong increase in wages is that the export industry is gradually disappearing from Norway, says diretor of INEOS Olefins & Polymers Europe (Norway) Eirik Stamland to public broadcaster NRK. Tor Steig, Chief economist of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), says it is now very difficult for Norwegian industry to compete abroad. (NRK)

German financial experts warn against what they call the "wage feast" in Norway. They say high wages have made it very difficult for Norwegian industry to compete abroad.
