- Relations between Norway and Pakistan remain solid

The relations between Norway and Pakistan will not be affected by the alleged leak of sensitive information by Security Police Chief Janne Kristiansen during a hearing on Wednesday.

Spokesman for the Pakistani Foreign Office, Abdul Basit said after a meeting between representatives for the Pakistani and Norwegian authorities that the incident would not change the relationship between the two countries.

The Pakistani ambassador to Norway, Ishtiaq Andrabi, also downplayed the incident, and said in Oslo that Norway and Pakistan have close cooperation, and that this issue would not change that.

In a slip of the tongue during a hearing in front of the July 22nd Committee on Wednesday, Kristiansen allegedly revealed that Norway has military intelligence agents operating in Pakistan
