Political parties report growing membership
Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, supported by other political leaders, promised more openness, more Democracy, in response to terrorism, and it seems the nation is responding. Both the Conservative Party (Høyre) and Labour report an unusual increase in membership, particularly since this is summer and vacation time, and so do the other parties. - I interpret this to mean that people agree that the most important way to show support and honour to the victims is to rally around our Democracy, says Høyre's Secretary General, Lars Arne Rysstad.
