Piracy: Norwegian ship freedThe crew of 21 was saved when a South Korean naval vessel on Friday freed the Norwegian-owned tanker "Samho Jewelry", which had been captured by Somali pirates a week ago. The captain of the Norwegian tanker was injured during the action, and was flown to safety by a US helicopter. The tanker is owned by the Norwegian company Global Shipsholding, and is registered in Malta, but is now leased to the South Korean Samho Shipping.
