New passenger record for Norwegian airports

At the Stavanger Airport, Sola, a new record was also set, with an increase of 12.4 per cent. Trondheim Airport, Værnes, saw a growth of 11.4 per cent, while Bergen Airport, Flesland saw a growth of 10.8 per cent. The overall growth for the regional airports was 8.4 per cent for 2011. Avinor (The Norwegian Civil Aviation Administration) is responsible for planning, developing and operating the Norwegian airport network. Avinor operates 46 airports in Norway, of these, 12 in cooperation with the armed forces.
