Increased contributions to charityNorwegians continue to increase their contributions to charity, according to a report from the accountancy firm Deolitte, based on figures from 77 Norwegian organistions. The income from regular contributors and sponsors to organisations like Amnesty, Save the Children and the Assosiation for the Blindincreased by 10 per cent last year. Nearly 680.000 Norwegians contributes an average of nearly NOK 2000 each in 2011, an increase of 7 per cent since the year 2009.
