Crime rate down in Norway
Reported thefts from private homes have dropped by nearly 40 per cent since 2002. However, there has been an increase in reported sexual offences and thefts in public places. - But these offences are experienced by the few, and Norway is therefore safe, compared with earlier times, says Deputy Police Director Reidar Refvik.
