Clinton cancels Oslo visit

Former US president Bill Clinton has had to cancel a scheduled visit to Oslo on Tuesday, due to serious illness in his family. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton has also cancelled her planned visit to Turkey.

Bill Clinton was scheduled to speak at a charitable luncheon seminar in Oslo for 40 invited guests.

The organisers have now cancelled the seminar, but are planning to invite Clinton at a later date.

The visit was to have been part of a drive to collect money for Clinton's charitable foundation, the Clinton Global Initiative.
