World's largest tropical forest conference in Oslo

On June 14th and 15th, 500 politicians, private sector companies, indigenous peoples representatives, researchers and civil society organizations from all over the world gather in Oslo to discuss how to stop the destruction of the world’s tropical forests.

13 dead in tragic helicopter accident

The police has confirmed that the 13 people on board a helicopter on assignement for Statoil are feared dead.  The CHC helicopter crashed on Friday, en route from the Gullfaks B platform in the North Sea to Bergen on the West Coast of Norway.
