Search continues for kidnapped aid workers

The search continued this weekend for the four employees of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), who were kidnapped by armed men at the Dadaab refugee camp on the Kenyan border with Somalia on Friday.

A spokesman for the NRC says no one has so far contacted them, demanding a ransom, or saying they were responsible for the abduction.

Reports from Kenya say the seized vehicle has been found abandoned about 30km from Daadab and it was believed the captives and their abductors were still inside Kenya, proceeding on foot.

Th NRC Secretary General, Elizabeth Rasmussen, was also in the convoy that came under attack, but she escaped unharmed, and arrived in Norway on Sunday.
