Norway's famous coastal cruise vessels 'Hurtigruten' carried 547,407 passengers along the coast from Bergen to Kirkenes last year. This is 100,723 more than last year, a formidable increase of 23 per cent.. 
A record number of cruise ships are expected at Norwegian shores this summer. The harbours of Bergen, Geiranger and Oslo are all reporting an increased number of vessels calling at their ports, compared with last summer.
