Therese Johaug led from start to finish to take victory on home snow in the cross-country skiing World Cup 30km freestyle mass start at Holmenkollen in Oslo on Sunday, in front of a crowd of 34,000.
Norway's Tora Berger finished third in the women's final biathlon World Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia on Saturday. Gabriela Soukalova, Czech Republic, picked up her second straight victory, ahead of Russia's own Olga Vilukhina. 
Norway's famous 54km classic ski-touring race, Birkebeinerrennet, is arranged today, Saturday, for the 71st time, with around 17,000 participants. The race starts in Rena and finishes in Lillehammer.
Petter Northug won the men's World Cup classic cross country sprint on home turf at Drammen, Norway on Wednesday, ahead of Aleksej Poltoranin of Kazakhstan. Russia's Nikita Kruikov came third.
Norway's Suzann Pettersen came from two shots behind to win the Mission Hills World Ladies Championship in Hainan, China on Sunday, ahead of Inbee Park of South Korea by one stroke.
Norway's double Olympic champion Petter Northug outpaced all competitors to win the men's 15km classic World Cup race at Lahti, Finland on Sunday, ahead of Kazakhstan's Alexey Poltoranin.
