Football: Blackburn to pay Berg compensation

alt Former Blackburn manager Henning Berg has been awarded £2.25million in compensation after he was sacked last December, after just 57 days into his three-year contract.

The 43-year old Norwegian won his claim of NOK 17.6 million against the club at the High Court in Manchester.

Blackburn have also been ordered to pay £20,000 in interim costs, BBC reports.
