Norway's women defeated Denmark 40-24 in the first match in the Golden League tournament Wednesday.

Norway will next meet Russia on Friday and France on Saturday.

Norway's famous 54km classic ski-touring race, Birkebeinerrennet, is arranged today, Saturday, for the 71st time, with around 17,000 participants. The race starts in Rena and finishes in Lillehammer.
