Cross Country Relay Gold for Norway's women

altNorway captured gold in the women's cross country relay event at the Nordic Ski World Championships at Val di Fiemme on Thursday, ahead of Sweden, with Russia third.

Norway's team: Heidi Weng, Therese Johaug, Kristin Størmer Steira and Marit Bjørgen (photo).

Weng took the lead already after 3km on the first leg, and Marit Bjørgen on the last leg crossed the line 26.2 seconds ahead of Sweden. Russia was 45.8 seconds behind Norway in third place.
