Flooding hamper rail services

altThe heavy rainfall is creating major problems for the train services several places in South Eastern Norway Wednesday morning.

The Norwegian Railways (NSB) report that the service between Eidsvoll and Hamar is closed, due to flooding of the tracks.

It says they are struggling to hire enough buses to provide alternative transport for its passengers, and that some delays are expected.

On Tuesday, the railway between Oslo and Bergen was blocked near Finse by a mudslide for a considerable time.
