As usual, teams from the Norwegian Red Cross are posted at strategic points nationwide at Easter, and already on Maundy Thursday they had their hands full, assisting people.
During the day, the Read Cross teams treated 155 injuries, and participated in 59 different missions on the mountain trails.
Many injuries were caused by icy conditions, due to the cold weather the past couple of weeks, and many suffered broken bones or sprained ankles.
There were also some head injuries, and some dislocated shoulders, says Red Cross duty manager Unni Sletvold.
