Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre is Monday on a visit to Kaliningrad, where he will meet his Russian counterpart, Sergeij Lavrov. On Tuesday Støre will visit Lithuania.
The Kaliningrad meeting takes place at the invitation of the Russian Foreign Minister. The aim is a follow-up on discussions around joint-border-issues like easing of customs, visa and work permit regulations.
Støre will also meet the Kaliningrad Governor, Nikolaij Tsukhanov.
In Lithuania, the Norwegian Foreign Minister will meet with President Grybauskaitė, Prime Minister Kubilis and Foreign Minister Ažubalis.
