The employment rate, which is employed persons as a percentage of the population aged 15–74, was 68.6 per cent in March.
In the USA, unemployment corresponded to 7.6 per cent of the labour force in March 2013, down 0.2 percentage points from December 2012.
In the EU15, unemployment increased by 0.3 percentage points during the same period, to 11.2 per cent in March.
Unemployment in Denmark decreased by 0.2 percentage points from December, down to 7.2 per cent in March. In Sweden, however, unemployment went up by 0.4 percentage points during the same period, to 8.4 per cent in March.
The international figures refer to seasonally-adjusted data from Eurostat.
