SAS transported 2,5 million passengers in april, an increase of 151.000, pr 6,5 percent, compared to last year.
SAS's markets in Norway and Denmark saw the highest growth rate in passengers the past month. Overall, domestic routes experienced the largest increase in number of passengers, at 10 percent.
The airline also reports that SAS's new route to San Fransisco has been positively received, with a passenger load of 80 percent in April.
"These traffic numbers for April show that SAS is headed in the right direction. We enter the high season with optimism, and are looking forward to opening 17 more new routes in May and June," says CEO Rickard Gustafson.
