Record sales of private cars

Nearly 14,000 new private cars were registered in Norway in April, the highest number for April since 1986.

 

The 13,988 new cars is an increase of 28.6 per cent over the same month last year, according to the survey made by the Road Traffic Information Council.

In addittion, 2.868 used private cars were imported to Norway last month, 26 per cent more than in the same month last year.
