Women boxing: Brækhus retained titles

alt Norway's Cecilia Brækhus defended her WBA/WBC/WBO Female Titles in a world championship match against US veteran Mia St. John Saturday evening, winning on points after three rounds.

The Norwegian boxing queen led from the start and the referee stopped the match after just three rounds.

This was the Norwegian champion's 22nd win in a row as professional.

- I was actually surprised at how easy it was, Brækhus said to NRK after the match.
