Cross Country: Northug wins World Cup

alt Norway's Petter Northug won the 15km cross country pursuit on the last day of the World Cup Final mini-tour in Falun, Sweden on Sunday, and also securing the overall World Cup victory and the Crystal Globe.

Norway completed a one-two-three in Sunday's race, as Finn Haagen Krogh and Martin Johnsrud Sundby came in second and third.

Russia's Alexander Legkov finishes second in the World Cup overall, 180 points back, just 17 points clear of Italy's Dario Cologna in third.

Norway's famous 54km classic ski-touring race, Birkebeinerrennet, is arranged today, Saturday, for the 71st time, with around 17,000 participants. The race starts in Rena and finishes in Lillehammer.
