The Norwegian Police Security Service (PST)'s use of infiltration, which came to light in a NRK TV documentary, will be investigated by the Parliament's Intelligence, Monitoring and Security (EOS) Agency.

In the documentary, Christian Høibø, described how he had worked as an infiltrator and informer for the PST over a ten-year period, and how he had infiltrated the Norwegian radical left, like International Socialists and Blitz. He said he had turned membership records over to the PST.
Even though the PST confirms that Høibø was an important source of information to them, they refute the allegations that they have received membership records.
The Norwegian intelligence service is not permitted to register persons on the basis of just political connections or membership in a political organisation.
PST director Tore Risberget says to NRK that the PST has never carried out a mapping of political environments.
