The Oslo police have imposed a ban on all non-commercial air traffic over the Norwegian capital during the Nobel Peace Prze celebrations next week. The air force will monitor the air space.From the morning of Sunday December 9th until the afternoon of Wednesday December 12th, only aircraft from the Norwegian Defence, the police and ambulance services will be allowed to fly over Oslo.
The ban will not affect regular commercial flights to and from Oslo Airport Gardermoen, according to the police.
A number of European heads of state will arrive in Oslo to attend the Peace Prize award ceremony.
