Norwegian Minister of Industry and Trade, Trond Giske, says the savings plan presented by SAS on Monday is demanding on the personnel, but necessary.
- As part owner, the state is positive to the business plan presented by the SAS board in order to strentghen the company's profitability. We will contribute in order to secure the Group's ability to carry out the new plan, Giske says.
Monday morning it was also announced that SAS chief Rickard Gustafson will cut his own salary by 20 per cent.
