Information on the Royal Family available on the Web

For the last several months, pictures and information about the Royal Family has been freely available for anyone on the social network Instagram, VG reports.

The information included private  photos, information about vacation spots and other private information.

According to VG, the source is Crown Princess Mette-Marit's son, Marius (15) who has shared the information.

Terror expert Magnus Ranstorp says the fault is  not Marius', but the police who has made the wrong judgement.

The Security Police (PST) information director, says the security for the Royal Family is continously under consideration. He says that pictures or other information on Instagram or Twitter is not necessarily a breach of security.

The Instagram account has now been closed, NRK reports.
