Shipping: The world's first gas powered tanker

The world's first gas-powered tanker has been put into service in Norway. The LNG-powere MS Høydal will be used in the aqua-farming industry along the coast.

The ship is chartered by Biomar, which devlops, manufactures, markets and distributes feed for fish farming.

The use of gas power will reduce vesseloperating costs, and  will help reduce emissions.
