TEACHERS OUT, ECONOMISTS IN

County politicians in Akershus have now applied to the Ministry of Education, Research and Church Affairs for permission to hire school principals who lack teacher training. In their view, people from the private sector are just as qualified to act as school heads. This is pure nonsense! We will do whatever we can to convince the Ministry to reject this proposal, says Anders Folkestad, chairman of the Teachers Union, Norway. TNP /TRMOFA
