Norwegian polar adventurer's ship released

The Norwegian polar adventurer Jarle Andhøy and his vessel "Nilaya" and its crew which have been detained by the Chilean Coast Guard for ten days, have now been released.

The vessel was brought to the Chilean harbour Puerto Williams, because the ship's registration papers were not up to date.

The papers have now arrived, and the expedition will on Tuesday leave for the Argentinian harbour Ushuaia where repairs will be carried out, NRK reports.

The expedition hopes to be back in Norway before May 17th, Norway's Constitution Day.
