The National Archives of Norway

The Digital Archive is the result of co-operation between the Dept. of History, University of Bergen, and the Regional State Archives of Bergen, part of the National State Archives. The National Archives of Norway are important parts of our national memory and heritage. Previously we have passed on knowledge from this memory, to all those who have either written to us or visited our search-rooms, through publications, lectures, data-based registers and microfilms. We are now using new technical solutions to give our old and new users easier access to large amounts of information found in the National Archives and the Regional State Archives. Read more....
