Of the around 70 persons who have left Norway to join the IS/ISIL in Syria and other areas, around 15 have been killed, while another 25 have returned to Norway.
- However, the real numbers are uncertain, said Chief of the Police Security Service (PST), Benedikte Bjørnland (photo), speaking at the Military Society in Oslo Monday evening.
In her latest threat asessment, Bjørnland said Islamic extremism is the greatest threat. She said the increase in acts of terror lately, is worring.
-And we must be prepared for the possibility that terrorist acts will be carried out also in Norway, Bjørnland said.
