The Cruise Season is underway!!

The first cruiceship this season arrives in Oslo early next week , and 161 ships will dock at Oslo Harbour during the season. The first ship to arrive is AIDA's ship Stella.  Stella is a newbuild and arrives from Copenhagen, before a traveling on to Stavanger. The cruise traffic last until 20'th December. During 2013, 33 vessels will remain in port overnight and give passengers the opportunity to go ashore. Passengers will have the opportunity to visit Oslo attractions like Holmenkollen, the Vigeland park and museums, the opera etc. In future they will also be able to visit a new Munch Museum, - when the politicians have made up their mind where to have this built. Half of the ships that visit Norway will stop only in Oslo  before sailing into the Baltic sea and St.petersburg. The rest of the ships will travel westbound, towards the Norwegian West Coast, fjords and mountains.
