Finance Minister Kristin Halvorsen on Friday presented the proposed national budget for 2008. The Government proposes a Fiscal Budget for 2008 with a structural, non-oil budget deficit of NOK 76.8 billion, which is NOK 7 billion lower than the expected real return on the Government Pension Fund – Global (National Oil Fund).
